Camp Overview
The one day camps are designed to give beginning players a fun environment to learn and understand the game better. We will focus on the early technical needs of the players and the tactics that go with them. During the afternoon session we will conduct a mini tournament or a street soccer tournament.
Day camp
9:00 - 11:00 AM: On the field- We will work on technical age appropriate tactics
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Pool time
12:30 - 1:30 PM: Lunch
1:30 - 3:00 PM: Indoor session
3:00- 4:30 PM: Indoor Tournaments
July Day Camp
Drop off 8:30 AM at Cardinal Stadium.
Daily schedule
9:00 - 11:00 AM: technical work
11:30 - 1:00 PM: Pool
1:00 - 2:00 PM: Lunch
2:00- 4:00 PM: Indoor Session
4:30 - 5:30 PM: Dinner
6:30-7:30 PM: Games at Cardinal Stadium
7:30 PM Pick up at Cardinal Stadium
All campers will receive a T-shirt and a season Ticket to the upcoming 08 LU Women's soccer season.
Team camp
1) For a team to be considered a team at least 8 players must attend.
2) Players will work on individual ability in the morning and then will train and play together in the afternoon and evening.
3) Teams will be assigned a coach for the length of the camp.
All coaches are encouraged to come with their team, discus team development and tactics with the camp coaching staff.
The focus of team camp is to improve both the individual players on the team, to evaluate the team and the style they play, and improve the tactical understanding of the team.
July Half Day Camp
Drop off 8:30 AM at Cardinal Stadium.
Who is this for: Players from the age of 6 to 12.
Players who are just starting!
Players who are only able to attend half a day of soccer!
What is the cost: $100.
Price covers: Cost of camp, Lamar University season Ticket and a T-Shirt
When: July 30 to Aug. 2
Time: 9:00AM to 11:30AM
Drop off and pick up is at the Montagne center on the campus of Lamar University
